Edvine Larssen mainly works with large scale installations, often outside of the institutional framework. Her works are hovering between the architectonic, the performative and the sculptural. Her practice is clearly rooted in a site bound practice. Her works are both conceptual and crafted, and her choice of materials are never random but always linked to the layers of research her works carry. Larssens works refer to theatre and literature, and could be defined as Passage Works – works in a constant state of becoming.
