In collaboration with NTNU Campussamling, the curatorial welcomes the initiation of KOROs art programme for NTNTUs campus development.
Kick Off introduces a programme that will span seven years leading up to the completion of Gløshaugens new campus. Prior to this event, architect Nao Kono (Japan) held a two-day student workshop, a collaboration with faculty from NTNU department of structural engineering.
At Skiboli, the curatorial team invites NTNUs student, faculty and other interested audience to conversations, food and artistic contributions.
In their initial work, the curators have been interested in the undefined spaces that are created outside of buildings and other spaces provided by the educational institution. Which rooms and situations give students a sense of ownership? What spaces can offer autonomy, and community?
How to create spaces that can be a catalyst for different ways of thinking and practical action, other than what usually takes place in a teaching context? Where can art fit in to an educational institution like NTNU? We start this conversation in Skiboli - a student-initiated freespace at Gløshaugen.
